Sardar Patel university of Police, Security and Criminal Justice (SPUP), Jodhpur was set up in 2012 under the State Legislative Assembly Act of Govt. of Rajasthan, located at Lordi Panditji, Jodhpur. SPUP, Jodhpur currently conducts various academic programs/courses like M.Tech in Cyber Security, M.A./M.Sc. in Criminology & Police Studies etc. SPUP, Jodhpur invites application form suitable candidates for the position of Training and Placement Officer on contract basis.
1. Job Title: Training and Placement Officer
2.Tenure: Appointments will be offered on contract basis for 06 months.
3. Pay & Other Benefits: An all-inclusive consolidated monthly pay of Rs.20, 000/- during initial contract period of six months.Pay & Other Benefits: An all-inclusive consolidated monthly pay of Rs.20, 000/- during initial contract period of six months.
4. Education Qualification: a. First Class or equivalent at the Post-Graduate degree with a very good academic record throughout (MBA candidates will be given preference).
b. Excellent communication both in written and spoken English is essential
5. Key Responsibilities (indicative and not exhaustive)
a) Corporate communication/networking for relationship building with public/private sector banks and other recruiters.
b) Developing and maintaining database of prospective recruiters of SPUP students.
c) Coordinating activities of Students' Placement Committee for both internship and final placement.
d) Developing, coordinating and maintaining database of industry expert guest faculty database of SPUP and executive training programme.
6. Experience: Experience in similar position in management institutions will be preferred.

The Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice was established in 2012 by the Government of Rajasthan through Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur Act, 2012, named after Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister of India.
In 2015, the Sardar Patel University of Police introduced the LL.M./M.A. in criminal law, and co-organized the first counter-terrorism conference in the country. In 2016, it opened a new class to study national, international and transnational criminal law.
