Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Head Draftsman: Diploma in Civil Engineering or Certificate in Civil Draftsman or equivalent from a recognized institution, or higher qualification in the relevant field.
- Law Officer: Professional Degree in Law from a recognized university with at least three years' experience as an Advocate at Bar.
- Legal Assistant (Higher Education Department): Professional Degree in Law from a recognized university with a minimum of two years' experience at Bar.
- Accountant: Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university and qualified in competitive test, plus a 120-hour computer course or equivalent certification.
- Legal Assistant (Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board): Degree in Law.
- Mandatory: All candidates must have passed Punjabi at Matriculation level or equivalent as per Rule 17 of Punjab Civil Services Rules.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process includes:
- Objective Type Written Examination: MCQ-based with negative marking (1/4 mark deducted per wrong answer).
- Merit List: Based on examination marks; tie-breaking by age, then educational qualification percentage, then Matriculation marks.
- Counseling and Document Verification: Candidates called based on merit for verification of eligibility and documents.
