Online applications are invited with effect from 12.05.2022(from 4:00 PM) to 20.05.2022(up to 4:00 PM) from Indian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura for selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of "Post Graduate Teacher (For Class X-XI)" through "Selection Test for Post Graduate Teacher(STPGT) 2022" under Secondary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. All posts are permanent and period of probation is 2-years. Subject-wise vacancy position is as follows:

2. No of Post: 300
3. Essential Minimum Qualification:
(a) Post Graduate in relevant subject/ allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from NCTE recognised institution. OR
(b) Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution { in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application,
i) determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training ) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007) OR
(c) Post Graduate in relevant subject/allied subject (equivalency of which to be determined by equivalent committee) with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE ecognised institution.
4. Pay: Rs. 26,015/- fixed per month ( Group C Non-Gazetted) being 75 % of basic pay (Level-10) of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.

Selection Procedure
1. The selection will be done on the basis of Mark obtained in "Selection Test for Post Graduate Teachers (STPGT)-2022" and vacancy position as per this notification subject to scrutiny of certificates/ documents/ Mark Sheets & correctness of information given by the candidate in the online application form.
2. Minimum 50% marks (75 out of 150) is to be obtained in the test with 5% relaxation (68 out of 150) for SC/ST/PH candidates. Depending upon number of vacant post candidates will be recommended for recruitment as per merit.
3. Thus all candidates obtained minimum mark (75 or 68, as applicable) or more may not be recommended for recruitment as recommendation depends on vacancy. Securing minimum mark (75 or 68, as applicable) or more does not confer any right to any candidate for recruitment.
4. Candidates will be responsible for correctness of all particulars as furnished in the online application form. In case of any subsequent detection of false or defective information or suppression of facts, even after selection / appointment, his/ her candidature will be summarily rejected.
5. Candidature of Candidates, who submit online application, disregarding the eligibility/minimum educational qualification/other criteria/ terms and conditions etc. as laid down in this notification and in the "Prospectus cum Instructions: Selection Test for Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT)-2022", will be rejected at any stage of the selection process without further notification.
6. Candidates must fulfil all eligibility criteria / terms and conditions of this notification and "Prospectus cum Instructions Selection Test for Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT) 2022". Candidates will be invited for certificate verification depending on the number of post as requisitioned by the concerned department.

2. While applying online the candidate must ensure that she/he understands and fulfils the norms of eligibility. Before applying online please ensure to have the following for uploading:
a) Scanned image of latest passport size photograph of candidate (In JPG/JPEG format only, Size: up to 100 KB).
b) canned image of full signature of candidate (in JPG/JPEG format only, Size: up to 60 KB).
