General Information / Instructions

• Functions: To engage in Research. To design and execute short term capacity building programme for teachers in higher education focussed towards the designated discipline of the chair. To publish articles/research papers/reports, books and monographs. To participate in teaching and Ph.D programme of the Department or School in which the chair is located.
• Logistic Support: Books and Journals Rs. 40,000 per annum maximum 2 Lakh for five years.
• Travel grant: Rs. 1,00,000 per annum
• Contingency: Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum
• Organization of workshop/ conference seminar: Rs. 2,00,000 per annum
• Appointment of Staff: Chair Research Fellow: with minimum qualification Ph.D (in the area of study for the Chair) Rs. 35, 000/- per month of the tenure of the Chair. Secretarial Assistant: Rs 1,80,000/- p.a. (to be outsourced only)
• Notes: The chair is proposed for a period of five years. All applicant must submit their applications alongwith covering letter (stating their interest, relevant skills etc.), Detail CV with all supporting annexures, list of publications and copy of best ten publications.
