General Information / Instructions
- Functions: To engage in Research. To design and execute short term capacity building programme for teachers in higher education focussed towards the designated discipline of the chair. To publish articles/research papers/reports, books and monographs. To participate in teaching and Ph.D programme of the Department or School in which the chair is located.
- Logistic Support: Books and Journals Rs. 40,000 per annum maximum 2 Lakh for five years.
- Travel grant: Rs. 1,00,000 per annum
- Contingency: Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum
- Organization of workshop/ conference seminar: Rs. 2,00,000 per annum
- Appointment of Staff: Chair Research Fellow: with minimum qualification Ph.D (in the area of study for the Chair) Rs. 35, 000/- per month of the tenure of the Chair. Secretarial Assistant: Rs 1,80,000/- p.a. (to be outsourced only)
