Educational Qualification: BDS, B.Tech/B.E, MBBS, BVSC, Any Masters Degree, M.Phil/Ph.D
Applications are invited for filling up of following posts under the Medical College Level Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL), Department of Microbiology, UPUMS, Saifai, Etawah (UP) for one year purely on a contractual basis as per the below-mentioned details:-
1. Name of post: Research Assistant
2. No. of Post: 01
3. Consolidated Fixed Salary (per month): Rs.35000
4. Essential qualification: M.Sc. (Medical Microbiology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences) from recognized University.
5. Desirable: M.Sc. Virology/Microbiology/Biotechnology Work experience in diagnostic laboratory/Cell Culture/ELISA/PCR Knowledge of computer application/reporting preparation.
1. Name of post: Scientist B (Non-Medical)
2. No. of Post: 01
3. Consolidated Fixed Salary (per month): Rs.56000+HRA
4. Essential qualification: BE / B. Tech degree in relevant engineering subject with 2 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Or 1 st class Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university Or 2 nd class M. Sc. + Ph. D degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
5. Desirable:
i. Doctorate or M. Tech Degree in relevant subject or engineering subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
ii. Additional Post doctoral research / training experience in relevant subjects in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).
iii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
iv. Two years R&D / Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.

2. No. of Post: 01
3. Consolidated Fixed Salary (per month): Rs.56000+HRA
4. Essential qualification: MBBS / BDS / B.V.Sc. & AH recognized by MCI / DCI / VCI respectively. Or BDS / B.V.Sc degree with one year experience.
5. Desirable:
i. MD in the related subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
ii. Additional Post-doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).
iii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
iv. Two years R&D / Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.
Pay Scale:
INR
35000 - 56000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Upper Age limit 40 years
Selection Procedure
1. The applications received will be scrutinized by the selection committee. Recruitments will be made through Interviews and a written test will be conducted if felt necessary by the selection committee.
2. Selection is based purely on a merit basis.
3. The list of candidates found eligible will be intimated as per the recruitment policy (for contractual posts) of UPUMS, Saifai.

How to Apply:
1. Candidates have to download the application form from the UPUMS, Saifai website and submit the same filled up completely accompanied by a self -attested Xerox copy of the certificates and documents. The duly filled application form along with certified copies of relevant documents should be sent either1. Through speed post/registered post to In-charge Recruitment Cell, Administrative Block, UPUMS, Saifai, Etawah-206130 (UP) India. Or
2. Scanned and e-mailed to [email protected] Last date for receipt of application is 22 December, 2021 5:00 pm
3. The application envelope (super-scribed)/email subject matter should be as – “Application for the contractual post of (name of the post applied for) in VRDL, UPUMS,Saifai.”
4. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to track the application and the UPUMS is not responsible for any postal delay.
5. The candidate needs to submit the application as per the format. No change in serial no. order and the heading of the column to be made. Annexures may be added as separate sheets if required.
6. The application in the said format is to be properly typed and signed.
7. Two recent self- signed passport sized colour photographs are to be attached with stapled/pinned on the first page of the proforma format.
8. One set of self- attested xerox copies of all relevant certificates, the first page of all scientific publications (Only PUBMED indexed), and experiences if any must be attached with the application form.
