Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in related branch of agricultural sciences with excellent academic record.
• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

Experience

• Deputy Director General: Minimum 15 years of research/teaching/extension experience, of which 3 years must be as Professor or Head of State-level line department.
• Assistant Director General: Minimum 8 years of research/teaching/extension experience on a post equivalent to Assistant Professor/Scientific Officer.

Age Limit

• DDG: Not less than 45 years
• ADG: Not less than 40 years

Other Requirements

• Must be a citizen of India.
