Educational Qualification: MBBS
Applications are invited from Doctors possessing the following qualifications, experience etc. for engagement as Medical Consultant (Nonspecialist) on purely temporary basis at Airports Authority of India, Chennai Airport. The period of engagement shall be for one year which may likely to be extended.
1. Post Name: Medical Consultant
2. Qualification:
The Doctors having minimum qualification of MBBS or equivalent from the Recognized Universities as per Medical Council of India/Govt. of India Norms shall be considered for engagement as Medical Consultant (Non-Specialist Doctor).
3. No of Post: 01
4. Experience:
At least 05 years after Graduation including one year as House Surgeon (Jr. Resident) in a teaching institution with preference to candidates who have worked in Aviation Establishments, Government Establishments and PSUs.
5. Proximity: The Doctors residing in close proximity to the airport are preferred so as to make themselves available for duty within two hours of being informed for duty immediately in case of any airport emergency.
6. Duration of Duty: 06 hours duty on all prescribed working days.
7. Honorarium: Rs.3000/- (inclusive of conveyance) for the first 06 hours duty on all working days. For every additional hour beyond 06 hours, Rs.500/- shall be paid.
8. Termination of Engagement:
i. The engagement is liable to be terminated in case –
(a) Medical Consultant commits a breach of code of conduct or the Terms and Conditions of engagement accepted by him/her.
(b) Commits anything which is detrimental to the interests of AAI.
ii. The Competent Authority of AAI can terminate the contract any time without assigning any reason and decision of AAI in this regard will be final.
iii . The Medical Consultant may terminate the engagement after giving one month advance notice to the AAI

Selection Procedure
1. Mode of Selection: Interview
2. The selection shall be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.
3. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.

Those fulfilling the above eligible conditions and desirous to offer their service shall send their application form filled properly in the prescribed format along with other documents duly signed and addressed to The Dy. General Manager(HR), Airports Authority of India, Operational Building, Chennai Airport, Meenambakam, Chennai – 16 so as to reach on or before 31.12.2021 (1700 hrs).
2. The application shall be superscribed as “Engagement of Medical Consultant (Non-specialist) at AAI, Chennai Airport, Chennai”.
3. The applications received beyond the stipulated date and time shall not be entertained.
