Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for PGT (Physics/Chemistry/Commerce)

• Essential: Two years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subjects.
• Experience: Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.
• Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in English & Hindi medium. Knowledge of Computer Application.

Eligibility for PGT (Music)

• Essential: M.A. (Music) or M. Music from NCTE recognized University OR Hr. Sec/Sr Sec with any of the following: Sangeet Alankar (M.Music), All India Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Bombay 08 Years; Sangeet Kovid (M. Music) Indira Kala Sangeet Viswavidyalaya, Khairagarh 08 Years; Sangeet Praveen (M. Music), The Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad 08 Years; Sangeet Nipun (M. Music), The Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth Lucknow 08 years.
• Essential: BA in Music followed by a minimum 2 years Diploma/ certificate in Music from an Institute recognized by NCTE.

Eligibility for TGT

• Essential: Four years Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks OR Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
• Essential: B.Ed from a NCTE recognized institution/ University with minimum 50% marks.
• Experience: Passing of Online Screening Test conducted by the AWES with raw score of 50% marks. However, passing the AWES Online Screening Test is NOT MANDATORY for appearing for the interview. But after selection, the candidate must pass the OST within two year of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 50% (100 marks), failing which the appointment will be terminated.
• Desirable: Passed CTET/TET conducted by CBSE / State Govts in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Eligibility for TGT (Counsellor)

• Essential: Graduation in Psychology with a Certificate/ Diploma in counseling with minimum three years experience as Wellness Teacher/Counsellor.

Eligibility for Head-mistress (Army Public School Main)

• Essential: Graduate in any specialization with min 50% marks in each and overall aggregate. B.Ed/M.Ed and B.EI.Ed with diploma in elementary education.
• Experience: Minimum 08 yrs of teaching experience with at least of 05 Yrs as PRT in a CBSE recognized school. Age Maximum 55 Yrs and 57 yrs for ESM/teachers from the same school.
• Desirable: Qualified in CTET and Online Screening Test conducted by AWES. IT/Computer literate. Teachers from the same school who fulfill the min QR as laid down above would be preferred.

Eligibility for PRT (All Subjects)

• Essential: Graduate holding Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate. B.EI.Ed/ two year D.EI.Ed (NCTE recognized institution).
• Experience: Teachers who were already in service with Army Public Schools/ APPS prior to 11 Aug 2023 with B Ed degree can also apply, subject to enrolment/completion of Bridge Course launched by NCTE.
• Desirable: Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility (CTET)/ Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by CBSE/ State Govt in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Eligibility for PRT (Art & Craft)

• Essential: Graduation with Drawing and Painting/ Fine Art/Art with minimum two years full time diploma from recognized University or M.A in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art from recognized university.

Eligibility for PRT (Yoga)

• Essential: Graduate in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Experience: One year Diploma in Yoga from a Recognized Institution with 02 years experience.

Eligibility for PRT (Dance)

• Essential: Graduate Degree/Diploma in Dance or equivalent from a recognized university/ institution as regular course.

Eligibility for PRT (Physical Education)

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective subject with 50% marks, OR Bachelor’s degree with physical education as an elective subject with 45% marks and participation in National or State or Inter University competition in sports or games or athletics recognized by Association of Indian University or Indian Olympics Association, OR Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National or State or Inter University sports or games or athletics.
• Experience: For deputed in-service candidates (i.e trained Physical Education Teachers)- Graduation with 45% marks and at least 3 years of teaching experience as per National Council for Teacher education (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2009, OR Graduation in Physical Education with 40% marks, OR Graduation with Physical Education as an elective subject with 40% marks.
• Desirable: Graduate who participated school, Inter-Collegiate in sports/games or passed NCC ‘C’ Certification in accordance with the National Council for Teacher education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007, OR Graduation in Physical Education i.e B.P. Ed course (or its equivalent) of 3 years duration, OR Graduate having represented State/University in Sports/games/athletics, OR Graduate who has secured 1st,2nd or 3rd position in Inter-collegiate sports/games / tournament / possessing NCC ‘C’ Certificate or passed basic course in Adventure Sports, OR Graduate with one-year training program in Sports Science, Sports Management, Sport Coaching, Yoga, Olympic Education, Sports Journalism, etc., OR Bachelor of Physical Education (B. P. Ed) of at least one year duration (or its equivalent) from any National council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Eligibility for Head-mistress (Foundational Wings I & II)

• Essential: Graduation with 50% marks from recognized Institution/ University.
• Experience: For Fresh Teachers Appt. Diploma in minimum two year duration in Nursery Teacher Education/ Pre-School Education/ Early Childhood Program (D.E.C.Ed) or a B.Ed (Nursery) from any NCTE recognized institution. For Teachers in Service. NTT and ECCE qualification obtained from IGNOU/NIOS/any other NCTE recognized institution. Minimum experience of 05 years.

Eligibility for PPRT (All Subjects/Dance & Music/Art & Craft)

• Essential: Diploma/ Graduation in Music/dance from recognized University (for Dance & Music), OR Graduation / Post Graduation in Drawing and Painting/ Fine Art/ Art from recognized university (for Art & Craft).
• Desirable: B.Ed (Nursery) or Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/ Pre-School Education/ Early Childhood Program.

Eligibility for IT Supervisor

• Essential: Advance diploma or diploma in computing & hardware with knowledge in Networking & LAN Administration. Operating System. RDBMS with programming. Proficiency in one language.
• Experience: Experience candidate having work experience (03 years) in CBSE Schools will be preferred.

Eligibility for Computer Lab Technician

• Essential: Diploma/Degree in computing and Hardware with knowledge of networking and LAN Administration. Knowledge of OS/Software installation and maintenance.
• Experience: 10+2 with Science and knowledge of computer application.

Eligibility for Science Lab Attendant

• Essential: 10+2 with Science and knowledge of computer application.

Eligibility for Library Attendant

• Essential: 10+2 with a Diploma/certificate in Library Science from a recognized Institution.

Eligibility for Adm Supervisor

• Essential: Minimum Graduate.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Office management , account handling as Head Clerk with proficiency in English and staff duties.
• Desirable: Proficiency in MS Office. Ex-servicemen of clerk category upto the age of 55 years will be preferred.

Eligibility for Peon (Army Public School Main)

• Essential: Preferably Matriculation or 10yrs service experience. Ex-Service man will be preferred.
• Experience: Ex-Service man – should not have any disciplinary case in entire service.

Eligibility for Gardener (Army Public School Main)

• Essential: Preferably Matriculation or 10yrs service experience. Ex-Service man will be preferred.

Age Limit

• Fresh Candidates (No teaching Experience): Below 40 years.
• Experienced Candidates: 40 to 55 years (05 years experience mandatory in the appropriate category in the last 10 years).
• Head-mistress (Army Public School Main): Age Maximum 55 Yrs and 57 yrs for ESM/teachers from the same school.
• Head-mistress (Foundational Wings): Age - 25-40 years for fresh Candidate and 55 Years for experience candidate with minimum five years teaching experience in last ten years.
• PRT/PPRT: Upper age 55 years. For ESM, it will be 57 years.
• Other Posts: AGE - 25-40 years for fresh Candidate and 56 Years for experienced candidate/Ex-Serviceman.
