Eligibility Criteria – Qualification and Age Limit

Candidates must satisfy the following educational and age requirements as on the cutoff date of 10 July 2026.

Educational Qualification (For All Trades)

• First-class (minimum 60% marks) in the respective ITI trade, along with a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
• Completion of Apprenticeship with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade issued by the Directorate General of Training (DGT).
• The ITI course must have been completed under the Conventional Training Pattern of the Craftsmen Training Scheme as a regular candidate.
• Relaxation: SC/ST/PwD candidates get a 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying percentage (55% instead of 60%).

BEML Operator Salary and Pay Structure 2026

The monthly pay structure for Operator posts on tenure basis is as follows:

An annual increment of 3% on Basic Pay is admissible during the tenure. Provident Fund is calculated on Basic Pay plus DA. Selected candidates are also entitled to Gratuity and Bonus as per applicable schemes and acts. The engagement is for a maximum of four years on a tenure basis.

BEML Operator Selection Process 2026

The selection will be based on a multi-stage process:

1. Computer Based Written Test (CBT): 2-hour exam with three parts (General Awareness, English & Reasoning, Concerned Discipline). 100 questions, 1 mark each, no negative marking.
