Eligibility Criteria for Sub-Inspector Prohibition
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Gender: Male, Female, and Third Gender candidates can apply.

- Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi language.

- Stage 2: Main Examination (Paper I: General Hindi, Paper II: General Studies, etc.)
- Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standards Test (PST)

- Height: UR/BC Male (165 cm), EBC/SC/ST Male (160 cm), All Females (155 cm).
