Educational Qualification: DNB, MS/MD
A walk in-interview will be held on 26.04.2022 at ESI-PGIMSR & Medical Collage Joka, which is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, for immediate engagement and drawing up of panel, for Specialties. Engagement of Teaching Faculty in the post of Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in ESI-PGIMSR Manicktala, for one year. The contract would be terminable after completion of one year or on attaining the age of 70 year whichever is earlier.

1. Name of the Post: Professor
2. No of Post: 01
3. Education & Experience:
a) AcademicQualifications: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.
b) TeachingandResearch Experience:
i. Associate Professor in the subject for threeyears in a permitted/ recognized medicalcollege/ institution.
ii. Should have at least four Research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) [only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, and case series that are published in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed , Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) will be considered]. The author should be among the first three or corresponding author.
iii. Should have completed the basic course in Medical Education Technology from in situations designated by NMC.
iv. Should have completed the Basic course in Biomedical Research from Institutions designated by NMC.
4. Pay & Allowances: Rs. 1,77,000/-
5. Terms of Contract: Total period of contract of teaching faculty will be for 01 year or on attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier. The faculty may get posted at ESI-PGIMSR & Medical Collage Joka, as per need of patient care service.

3. Education & Experience:
a) AcademicQualifications: MD/MS/DNB in the concernedsubject.
b) Teaching and Research Experience:
i. As Assistant Professor in the subject for fouryears in a permitted /recognized medicalcollege/ institution.
ii. Should have at least four Research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) [only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, and case series that are published in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed , Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) will be considered]. 3. Education & Experience:
a) AcademicQualifications: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject.
b) Teaching and Research Experience:
i) One year as Senior Resident in theconcerned subject in a recognized/ permitted medical college after acquiring MD/MS Degree. Determination of equivalence of the qualification of DNB (Broad Specialties) with MD/MS
ii) The Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in broad specialty and super specialty qualificationswhen granted in a medical institution with attached hospital or in a hospital with the strength offive hundred or more beds, by the National Board of Examinations, shall be equivalent in allrespects to the corresponding broad specialty (MD/MS) and super specialty (DM/MCh) postgraduate qualification, but in all other cases, senior residency in a medical college for anadditional period of one year shall be required for such qualification to be equivalent for the purposes of teaching.
4. Pay & Allowances: Rs. 1,01,000/-
5. Terms of Contract: Total period of contract of teaching faculty will be for 01 year or on attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier. The faculty may get posted at ESI-PGIMSR & Medical Collage Joka, as per need of patient care service.
Pay Scale: INR 101000 - 177000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 year as on date of Document verification.
Selection Procedure
i. The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the Selection Board.
ii. Result will be published on web-site: www.esic.nic.in.

Interested candidates should send filled in Application Form and enclosing necessary self-attested copies of certificates, for document verification to become eligible for appearing in the Interview.

Important Instructions:

ii. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.
iii. Wrong declarations/ submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
iv. Opportunity of interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.
v. The interviews shall be conducted at Dean Office, Academic Block, 2nd Floor, ESIC Medical College, Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700104. However, ESIC reserve the right to change the centre, if needed.
