1. Post Name: Assistant Manager - Strategic Planning

2. Location: Kolkata

3. Experience : 5 to 8 years

4. Purpose: The purpose of this job is to monitor the business performance, prepare the business projections, evaluation of new opportunities, and develop reports and presentations for top management review.

5. Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

a. Tracking business environment and developing periodic reports for management review and discussion.

b. Study of Macron-economic trends impacting industry performance and developing presentations/reports for management discussion

c. Analyze Plant Performance and Develop Daily/Weekly/Monthly Performance Review for Top Management

d. Study of Performance of Industry Peers and Carryout Benchmarking Analysis; Identifying new opportunities based on thorough analysis of industry business trends

e. Study Demand-Supply Gaps and Margin Analysis of Major Petrochemical Products

f. Assist team in developing in-house feasibility reports for new projects

g. Developing Financial Models/ What-if” Analysis for different business cases

h. Assist in maintaining an internal database for feedstock and product pricing, plant performance, energy information database, etc.

i. Assist in Monthly/Annual Business Planning Activities

6. Qualifications: B. Tech (Chemical Preferable) and MBA

7. Experience: Around 5 years of post-qualification experience in Strategic Planning/Business/Operation/Marketing planning, Project evaluation, etc.
