Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification

• Assistant Director, Group-A (Job Trainee): At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Forensic Science (with specialization / dissertation work / course work / project work in the field of Chemical Sciences) OR At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry, Pharmacy / M.S.(Pharm.) / M.Pharm. degree from a recognized University. Minimum seven (07) years of post-qualification experience in Research, Training and Analytical Work within the specified subjects.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years upper age limit relaxation is applicable for SC of H.P. / ST of H.P. / OBC of H.P. / W.F.F. of H.P. / Persons with disabilities where posts are reserved.

Selection Process and Screening Clause

The selection of candidates for the Assistant Director, Group-A (Job Trainee) post will be conducted through the following stages:

1. Stage 1: Objective Type Screening Test / Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test
2. Stage 2: Personality Test (Interview)

Candidates who secure qualifying marks in the screening test will be shortlisted for the Personality Test. The Personality Test will assess subject knowledge, analytical ability, communication skills and general awareness. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for any stage of the selection process.

Required Documents and Instructions for Candidates

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets for the relevant M.Sc. / M.Pharm. qualification
• Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead evidencing minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in Research, Training and Analytical Work
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Himachal Pradesh Government prescribed format (if applicable)
• Two recent passport-size photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
