Number of Vacancy: 276 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates Should have 10th pass from any school or institution in the state of Himachal Pradesh. A valid license of Heave Transport Vehicle (HTV) and three years of driving experience., The height of the candidates should be 160 CM minimum.
Pay Scale:
INR
15360/- Per Month
Age Limit: 18-45 Years as of 01/01/2023.
Application Fee: Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order of DD of Rs.300/- in the name of Zonal/Sub-Zonal and Regional Managers and copy of all the relevant documents should be submitted to the Zonal Offices (Shimla, Mandi, Hamirpur, Dharmshala)

Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) started in July 1949.
In 1949, the passenger and goods services were nationalized, and by 1958 a Corporation named "Mandi-Kullu Road Transport Corporation" was floated jointly by the Government of Punjab, Himachal and Railways under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950 basically to operate on the joint routes in the States of Punjab and Himachal.
In 1966, few hilly areas of Punjab were merged in Himachal and operational areas of Mandi-Kullu Road Transport Corporation came entirely in the expanded State of Himachal Pradesh. In 1974, Himachal Government Transport was merged with Mandi-Kullu Road Transport Corporation and was renamed what even today is known as Himachal Road Transport Corporation.
