Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) Invites Application for Research Associate-I Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for the IACS-funded position of Research Associate-I (RA-I) in the group of Prof. Pradyut Ghosh, School of Chemical Science, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science

1. Post Name : Research Associate I

2. Minimum Qualification:

The candidate should have a PhD degree in Chemistry with research experience in chemical sensing/ supramolecular catalysis. Knowledge and spectroscopy is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge in both Inorganic and supramolecular Chemistry, usual product characterization techniques including spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography, isothermal titration calorimetry, fluorescence spectroscopy etc.

3. Tenure of Fellowship: One year from the date of joining as RA-I, which may be extended for another year based on performance to be reviewed by a committee. The position is purely temporary and the candidate will have no right to claim (explicit or implicit) any post in the institute.

4. Emoluments:  The fellowship amount will be as per IACS rules.

Selection Procedure

1. The exact date of online interview of the shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.

2. The applications will be shortlisted based on academic credential and research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Inorganic and Supramolecular Chemistry. Shortlisted candidates will be requested to appear for an online interview tentatively on March 02, 2022.
