The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 04 months, and extendable but co-terminus with the duration of the project, on contractual basis with consolidated pay. 8. Minimum Qualification and Experience Essential Qualification: B.Tech. /M.E./M.Tech. will socialization in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science/Data Science with first class or equivalent. GATE qualification in relevant disciplines is Mandatory.

a) Desired Qualification: Solid fundamentals in 3D Computer Vision, Point Cloud Processing, and Machine Learning. Good hands-on experience in any one of the programming languages Python/MATLAB/C/C++.

09. Brief description of Project Given a partial and noisy 3D scan of a symmetric object scanned through a LiDAR 3D scanner, detect all the reflection symmetries of the object. Then, use the detected reflection symmetries and the scanned point cloud to find the implicit representation of the 3D surface of the compete object, and finally find the watertight triangle mesh from the implicit representation.

10. Job Description The selected candidate is expected to

a) Build an experimental setup using a 3D LiDAR scanner for collecting 3D point cloud scans of medium scale objects such as buildings.

b). Read high-quality publications and implement existing and novel algorithms in the areas of 3D Computer Vision and Point Cloud Processing and Geometry processing
