Applications are invited from the citizen of India for filling up the following temporary position in the Sponsored Research Project at this Institute. The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 04 Months, and extendable but co-terminus with the duration of the project, on contractual basis with consolidated pay. The requisite qualification, experience and others details are given below:

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

3. Minimum Qualification and Experience : Essential Qualification: B. Tech./M.E./M. Tech. With specialization in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science/Data Science with first class or equivalent. GATE qualification in relevant disciplines is Mandatory. Desired Qualification: Sound knowledge of fundamentals of Image Processing is desired. Proficiency in MATLAB/Python and prior handson experience with related project is preferable. Experience in Deep Learning is desirable. The candidate is expected to have good communication skills and ability to cooperate within a team

4. Consolidate Pay(Rs.) : Rs. 31,000/-+ HRA (As per institute norms)

5. Brief description of Project : This project intends to develop a Visual Positioning System which is lightweight and robust to Variation in the imaging. The objectives of the project are i) An accurate localization and positioning, ii) Efficient searching, indexing, updation of the map, and iii) Efficient utilization of the available reference information to switch between Local and Global Map.

6. Job Description : The selected candidate is expected to perform Experimental setup, Data Collection, experimentation to test novel ideas, and other tasks for the successful completion of the project.
