Educational Qualification: An earned PhD Degree in an Engineering Discipline from a Reputed institute in India or abroad.
Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in ammunition systems and their design and development/testing/manufacturing, in Govt. Organisations/PSU/Private Industry, specificallyin the following areas: I. Internal ballistics of 155 mm Dhanush, 130 mm
M46, and 105 mm, LFG Gun Systems – Experimental and theoretical II. Design and development of 125 mm and 155 mm artillery gun systems III. Design of tank guns
IV. Defect investigations of critical weapon equipment V. Soft recovery systems VI. Field trial participation VII. Quality control

The courses of study are organized as semester programs and each semester provides for a minimum of seventy instructional days. The medium of instruction is English. Students are evaluated on a continuous basis throughout the semester. Evaluation is done by the faculty, a consequence of the autonomous status granted to the Institute.
