The State Ayush Mission Tripura has released a recruitment notification for 2026 to fill 04 vacancies for Medical Officer positions (Homoeopathy and Ayurveda). Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Medical Officer (Homoeopathy)

  • Essential Qualification: BHMS from an Institution recognized under HCC Act 1973 / Central Council of Homoeopathy, including compulsory internship of 1 (one) year duration after passing the final degree examination. Must have a valid Registration of the Central or a State Council.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali/ Kokborok.

Eligibility for Medical Officer (Ayurveda)

  • Essential Qualification: BAMS or its equivalent Degree from a recognized Ayurvedic Medical Institution and completion of 1 (one) year compulsory internship training after passing of B.A.M.S or its equivalent. Must have a valid Registration of the Central or a State Council.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali/ Kokborok.

General Eligibility (Applicable to all)

  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years for UR candidates & 45 years for SC/ST candidates as on 31.12.2025.
  • Residency: Candidates must have the Permanent Resident Certificate (PRTC) issued by the Govt. of Tripura.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit determined by the total marks obtained by the candidate. The total maximum score is 100 marks, comprising:

  • 50 marks based on Academic Performance Index (API).
  • 50 marks on viva-voce/personality test.
