The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong, has invited applications for Teaching & Non-Teaching posts to be filled up by Direct Recruitment/Deputation. Eligible candidates are requested to submit their applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Lecturer (Ayurveda)

  • Essential Qualification (Direct Recruitment): Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject included recognized under IMCC Act, 1970.
  • Desirable: Publication and experience in Research. Working knowledge of Computers.
  • Deputation (including short term contract): Officers of Central Government, State Government, Statutory Organizations, Autonomous bodies, PSUs, University or Research Institutions holding analogous post on regular basis with essential educational qualification prescribed for direct recruitment.
  • Age Limit: 40 years (As on the last date of receipt of application).

Eligibility for Lecturer (Homoeopathy - Allied Subject)

  • Essential Qualification (Direct Recruitment): Post Graduate Qualification in Homoeopathy subject included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (NCH Act 2020) OR Post Graduate Medical Degree in the concerned subject recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (NMC Act 2019).
  • Deputation: Person holding analogous post in any State/ Central Govt./ Autonomous Institutions with educational qualifications prescribed for direct recruitment.
  • Age Limit: 40 years (As on the last date of receipt of application).

Eligibility for Nursing Officer

  • Essential Qualification (Direct Recruitment):
    Option 1: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized institute or university OR Post basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized institute or university. Registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife with state/Indian Nursing council.
    Option 2: B.Sc Nursing (Ayush) from an Ayush recognized Institute/University. Registered in the respective state/Indian Ayush Nursing Council.
    Option 3: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council. Registered as Nurse or Nurse & Midwife in state/Indian Nursing council. AND Two years experience in minimum 25 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
    Option 4: Diploma in Nursing & Pharmacy of Ayush and registered in the respective state/Indian Ayush Nursing council. AND Two years experience in minimum 25 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
  • Deputation: Officers of Central Government, State Government, Statutory Organizations, Autonomous bodies, PSUs, University or Research Institutions holding analogous post on regular basis with essential educational qualification prescribed for direct recruitment.
  • Age Limit: 30 years (As on the last date of receipt of application).
