Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Forester (Vanpal)
- Essential: Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer or Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent board recognized by the Government. Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devnagri script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture is required.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 40 years (as on 01-01-2027). Special relaxation of 03 years is granted.
- Nationality: Indian citizenship or citizenship of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01-01-1962, or Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries.
Salary
- Pay Scale: Level-8 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC) - ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month.
- Probation: 2 years. During probation, only fixed remuneration is paid without allowances.
Selection Process
- Selection based on marks obtained in Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level) 2024.
- Written examination (offline OMR based): 100 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours duration.
- Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Physical Fitness Test (Walking Test): Male 25 km in 4 hours, Female 16 km in 4 hours.
