S.N.Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, an autonomous organization funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of 'Pump Operator' — 1 No. (Unreserved) with pay in Level 2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.19,900-63,200) [as per 6th cpc, Pay Band - 1 (Rs.5,200-20,200) + Grade Pay Rs. 1,900/-1 on regular basis. Total gross emoluments (as per 7th CPC) at the beginning of the pay in the pay level is Rs.33,211/-.

3. Salary: pay in Level 2 in Pay Matrix (Rs.19,900-63,200) [as per 6th cpc, Pay Band - 1 (Rs.5,200-20,200) + Grade Pay Rs. 1,900/-1 on regular basis. Total gross emoluments (as per 7th CPC) at the beginning of the pay in the pay level is Rs.33,211/-.
4. Educational Qualifications: Matriculate from a recognized Board. ITI Ceritificate or Diploma Course in Mechanical Trade from any Central/State Govt. approved Training Institute.
5. Experience: Minimum 3 (three) years practical experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical plants from any reputed firm/organization. Ability to maintain and repair pumping machine, firefighting Pump-set, water pressuring system, sewage/dewatering pump set, tanks, maintenance of sanitary lines and installations etc.

The envelope should be superscribed with the words "Application for the post of Pump Operator".
