Eligibility Criteria for STPI JHT Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any of the following combinations:

• Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level; OR
• Any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;

AND

• Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa; OR
• Two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central Government or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

STPI Selection Process 2026

The selection for Junior Hindi Translator will be based on a Written Examination consisting of two papers:

• Paper-I: Objective Type
• Paper-II: Descriptive Type

Candidates must qualify in both papers to be considered for final selection.

Salary & Pay Scale for STPI Junior Hindi Translator

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 6 (7th CPC) with a salary range of Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400 per month. This is a Group ‘A’ post offering excellent career growth and job security.
