Sports Authority of India Recruitment 2021 for Doctor

SAI NSNIS, Patiala invites applications from eligible, qualified, and motivated Indian Citizens for the following categories on a contract basis at SAI NSNIS, Patiala.

1. Post Name: Doctor

2. No. of Post: 01

3. The total number of vacancies is 01 (One). The initial place of posting shall be NS NIS, PATIALA. However, SAI reserves the right to transfer the selected candidates anywhere in India.

4. Salary: Consolidated monthly remuneration will be Rs 1,25,000/-only.

5. Essential Educational Qualification: A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

6. Tenure: Initial contractual engagement will be for a period of three years. The tenure can be further extended by two years for a maximum period of five years on the basis of satisfactory performance. The tenure is subject to continuation of the Khelo India Scheme.

7. Tax Deduction at source: - The income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment, for which the SAI will issue TDS certificates/ Service Tax, as applicable.

8. Other Allowances: - No TA /DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. No other facilities like DA, Accommodation, Residential Phone, Conveyance /Transport, Personal Staff, Medical reimbursement, HRA, and LTC, etc. would be admissible to them.

9. Extension: - Performance of the person would be continuously reviewed and their extension will be considered on the basis of periodic review /requirement.

9. Leave: - Personnel will be entitled to 30 days' leave in a calendar year on a pro-rata basis. Employee shall not draw any remuneration in case of his/her absence beyond 30 days in a year. Also, any unavailed leave in a calendar year will lapse and will not be carried forward to the next calendar year.

10. Termination:-The contract can be terminated by giving a 30 days notice period by either party,i.e SAI & the employee.

Selection Procedure

1. The interview will be of 100 marks.

2. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview and assessed as follows:

a. Domain Expertise 30

b. Practical knowledge 30

c. Aptitude for working in a sports organization 10

d. Knowledge related to recent advancements. 10

e. Soft skills 10

f. Knowledge in allied sports science disciplines 10

3. Work experience in sports establishment. 10 2 marks will be awarded for every completed 1 year of work experience as medical practitioner at a recognized State level / National level sports organization (Govt. or Private) working with teams/players upto a maximum of 10 marks

4. Total Work experience 10 2 marks will be awarded for every completed 1 year of work experience as a medical practitioner upto a maximum of 10 marks.
