Job Description

The role involves taking detailed initial history, obtaining consent for tests, transcribing protocols on the Medical Oncology Information System (MOIS), counseling about adverse events and co-morbidity, drug interaction checking, making online prescriptions after consultant approval, checking the completeness of drugs from the Pharmacy, follow-up checks (compliance to therapy, investigation, grading chemotherapy toxicity). The candidate will also be required to work in the day care plus wards under supervision, and as a Casualty Medical Officer in day and night shifts, handling basic medical emergencies and reporting to concerned units.
