UCSL Malpe Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 19 Posts

Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), Malpe, Karnataka, has released a notification for the engagement of Trade Apprentices (ITI) under the Apprentices Act 1961. Eligible ITI certificate holders are invited to apply for a one-year apprenticeship training program. Candidates must be domiciles of Karnataka, Kasaragod, or Kannur districts.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for ITI Trade Apprentices

• Essential: Pass in X standard and Pass in ITI in the concerned trade (National Trade Certificate).
• Age: Minimum 18 years as on 22 December 2025.
• Domicile: The candidate shall have their permanent address in Karnataka, Kasaragod, or Kannur district.
• Physical Standards: As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992.

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹ 12,600 per month plus Meals allowance.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification. In case of equal marks, seniority in age will be the deciding factor. Shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification. Candidates must execute an Apprenticeship contract agreement through the https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal.

2. Fill in the application form with a recent passport-size photograph pasted on it.
3. Scan the signed application form along with all supporting documents (proof of age, educational qualification, caste, etc.).
