As per the provisions of the Recruitment Rules notified vide Home Department, Government of Tripura, Notification No. F.42(5)-PD/2004(P) 2555 dated 10.09.2021 and other guidelines/ notifications issued by the Government of Tripura from time to time, recruitment will be conducted for filling up of the following vacant posts of Constables (Men & Women) in Tripura Police:

4. Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruitment: For Un-reserved Category- Passed in Madhyamik .or equivalent board examination. For SC/ST Category- Class VIll Passed. Minimum Educational qualification Class VIll passed for all categories UR/SC/ST candidates. Minimum Educational qualification Class VIll passed for all categories UR/SC/ST candidates. If height of candidate is 56 or more, then 31" (unexpanded) and 33 (Expanded) (b). If the height of candidate is less than 56" then 30" (Unexpanded) and 32" (Expanded). Minimum 5'0" for UR/SC candidates For ST candidates, minimum height is 4'11".

5. Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.

Selection Procedure

1. Those who qualify in endurance test will have to appear for a written examination objective type, maximum marks 85 to test their general awareness and 1Q Examination will consist of one paper of one hour duration to be answered either in Bengali or Hindi or English or Kokborok as per the choice of the candidate. The venue and date of written examination will be intimated in due course.

2. NCC Certificate holder will be given incentivel bonus marks of 5, 3 and 2 marks for holding 'C, B, 'A' Certificates respectively, as per Government of Tripura, Home DepartmentMemorandum No. F.1 (58)-PD/2020/2859 dated 24/08/2021

5. Aspiring candidates (Men&Women) should bring the following documents in original along with self-attested copies for appearing in the recruitment test.

6. Photo identity card, such as Aaadhar Card, PAN card, Voter ID card etc. Age proof certificate (Matriculation or equivalent certificate, Admit card or School leaving certificate). Educational qualification certificate Valid Caste /Category certificate issued by Sub-Divisional Magistrate No Objection

7. Certificate duly issued by the employer, in case the candidateis a Government employee. Women candidate will bring self-declaration certificate certifying that she is not pregnant on the date of the physical endurance test. Service certificate of SPO issued by the District SP, in case candidate is SPO Service certificate of Home Guard candidates mentioning date of appointment and ength of service issued by Commandant Home Guard. 10 323 discharae ad-hoc Teachers is reauired to produce discharge order.

8. Each candidate shall bring COVID-19 double vaccination certificate or RTPCR Antigen test report generated not earlier than 72 hours from the actual date of Recruitment Rally.

9. Candidates of all categories will submit application in the prescribed format as given at either printed, type written or neatly hand written on full scale plain paper (A4 size) with four copies of recent passport size photograph, not older than six months, should be submitted along with self-attested copies of above documents to the Selection Committee, Tripura Police Constable (Men & Women), by 8 AM at the specified date at respective venue.The documents submitted by the candidates will not be returned.
