Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by DST-SERB (SRG/2021/000245), under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Mariam Abraham (PI), Department of Civil Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan.

1. Title of the project: Assessing the potential of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) aggregate inclusive concrete mixtures as a viable engineered carbon sink in rigid pavements.

4. Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/- per month

5. Eligibility requirements: GATE qualified candidates with M.Tech/M.E. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation Engineering or Structural Engineering (Pavement or Construction Materials).

The primary motive of BITS is to "train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information". The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla - an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi).
