Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Medical College Hospital, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad, has released a notification for the recruitment of Faculty, Senior Residents, and Medical Officers on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates satisfying the prescribed eligibility criteria can attend the walk-in interview scheduled from 29th December 2025 to 07th January 2026. A total of 102 vacancies are announced across various departments.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Professor

• Essential: MBBS and recognized Post Graduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh) in the concerned specialty as per NMC regulations.
• Experience: Refer to Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations 2025 (NMC Gazette Notification dtd.30-06-2025).
• Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Associate Professor

• Essential: MBBS and recognized Post Graduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh) in the concerned specialty as per NMC regulations.
• Experience: Refer to Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations 2025 (NMC Gazette Notification dtd.30-06-2025).
• Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor

• Essential: MBBS and recognized Post Graduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh) in the concerned specialty as per NMC regulations.
• Experience: Refer to Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations 2025 (NMC Gazette Notification dtd.30-06-2025).
• Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Senior Resident

• Essential: MBBS and recognized Post Graduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh) in the concerned specialty as per NMC regulations.
• Experience: For DNB equivalence for teaching purposes in certain cases, senior residency in a medical college for an additional period of one year is required.
• Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Medical Officer

• Essential: Recognized MBBS degree qualification and compulsory rotating internship.
• Experience: Recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or concerned statutory body.
• Desirable: Preference is given to candidates with post-graduation in General Medicine (MD/DNB) for Medical Officer at DCBO-Sadashivpet.

Eligibility for Dentistry (Assistant Professor)

• Essential: MBBS and recognized Post Graduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh) in the concerned specialty as per NMC regulations.
• Experience: Refer to Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations 2025 (NMC Gazette Notification dtd.30-06-2025).
• Desirable: Candidates with MDS in Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge, and Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics will be preferred.

Salary/Stipend

• Professor: ₹2,56,671/- per month (Approx total: ₹2,68,047/-)
• Associate Professor: ₹1,70,681/- per month (Approx total: ₹1,82,057/-)
• Assistant Professor/Senior Resident: ₹1,46,638/- per month (Approx total: ₹1,58,014/-)
• Medical Officer: 7th CPC Level-10 (Basic Pay ₹56,100.00 + other allowances) (Approx total: ₹1,17,103/-)
• No Private Practice is allowed.

Important Dates

Age Limit

• Faculty: Not exceeding 69 Years.
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 Years.
• Medical Officer: Not exceeding 35 Years.

Application Fee

• SC/ST Candidates, Female Candidates, Ex-servicemen & PH candidates: NIL
• All other categories: ₹500/-

Fees will be collected through online payment system (SB Collect) at the venue at the time of registration/document verification.

Selection Process

• Selection is based on performance in the interview before the Selection Board.
• If a large number of candidates appear, the selection procedure may be altered at the discretion of the authority (e.g., a screening test may be held).
• Result will be displayed on the ESIC website.

How To Apply

• Candidates must download the application format from the ESIC website (www.esic.gov.in).
• The application form must be duly filled in and submitted during the certificate verification on the date of the Walk-in Interview at the venue.
• Candidates must produce original documents and two copies of recent self-attested passport size photographs at the time of reporting for the interview.
• Venue: Academic Block, ESIC Medical College, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad.
• Reporting time: Strictly between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM on the respective interview day.

Important Instructions

• Vacancies are provisional and may change.
• Candidates applying for multiple cadres/departments must submit separate applications.
• The contract period for faculty is initially 1 year (extendable up to 3 years or 70 years of age).
• The tenure for Senior Residents is initially 1 year (extendable up to 3 years).
• The contract period for Medical Officer is 1 year only.
• Candidates selected to Faculty/Senior Resident posts must deposit ₹1,00,000/- as a security deposit at the time of joining, which is forfeited if they resign within 1 year or fail to serve the notice period.
• Candidates must join immediately after receiving the offer of appointment.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in-interview.
