Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record for the following position purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded project: ADVT. NO.: 33/2022 1. Position: CHANAKYA Post-Doctoral Fellow (C-PDF) 2. Number of posts: 01 (One) 3. Name of the Project: Quantum magnetism in two-dimension and spintronic devices' 4. Minimum Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics (Theoretical / Computational Condensed Matter Physics) 5. Preference: Candidates having working experience in one or more of the following fields will be preferred: First-principles calculations, Many body Physics, Quantum Magnetism, Strongly correlated electron system, Spintronics. Candidates with post-PhD experience may also be given preference. 6. Job requirement: Expertise in First principles calculations in quantum magnetism and device applications. 7. Tenure of the appointment: Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project. 8. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 80,000/- per month
