Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record and relevant work experience for the following position purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded project:

1. Name of the Post: Project Assistant (PA)

3. Name of the Project: “Rapid, Low-Cost Deployable Detection of nCov2 using Synthetic Biology”
4. Project Code: 33820516
5. Minimum Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Science / Life Science / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or equivalent qualification with relevant specialization with minimum 75% marks / equivalent grade (CGPA 7.5/10 or greater)
6. Preference: Candidates having experience with plasmid isolation, DNA cloning, bacterial transformation, fluorescence and absorbance spectrometry, RNA isolation and rtPCR will be preferred.
7. Tenure of the appointment: Upto March 31, 2022
8. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 19,840/- + 24% HRA per month
