Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for the following purely temporary (one) post of Junior Research Fellow in the DHR, ICMR Delhi funded project entitled 'Study of LASER based cost- effective monitoring system for lung & Breast Cancer radiotherapy: Development of patient specific quality assurance technique' under Principal Investigator Dr Teerthraj Verma, Additional Professor (Medical Physics), Department of Radiotherapy, King George's Medical University (KGMU), UP Lucknow.
i. As per ICMR guidelines, the appointment will be made initially for a period of one year which may be extended on yearly basis depending upon the performance of the candidate. The selected candidate cannot claim for the regular appointment at this university as the post is coterminous with the project.

3. Essential :
i. MSc in Physics and Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics (Dip.R.P.) course conducted by BARC/HBNI, Mumbai, DAE with one year internship from AERB recognised radiotherapy centre OR
ii. MSc (Medical Physics) from UGC recognised/ State/Central University with one year internship from AERB recognised radiotherapy centre or equivalent qualification as prescribed in ICMR guidelines.
4. Desirable:
Working experience of Simulation viz MATLAB/Python/Geant4 Code(s) etc. programming preferably in the area of Medical Physics/Motion Management related to radiotherapy as evident from the publications in reputed journals /conference presentations.
5. Consolidated Salary: INR 3 1000/- Per Month

Selection Procedure
1. The screening of the applications will be done as per the requirements of the project and guidelines.
2. The date, time and venue of the interview will be intimated one week in advance on the same email id through which the scanned copy of application will be received. So candidates are suggested to check the email regularly. No communication for change in date, time and venue etc. will be entertained. Candidates called for interview are directed to report with all the relevant documents in original.

1. Eligible and interested candidates should submit their application along with detailed biodata including working experience, list of publications, (if any) etc. attached with self-attested copies of each relevant documents by post/by hand to the office address of Principal Investigator on or before last date i.e. 10th February 2022, 3:00 P M.
2. Also, scanned copy of the same application along with all the attached documents (self-attested) must be send online to email address [email protected] on or before the last date.
3. Both the hard copy and soft copy of the application should be submitted for the screening.
