Eligibility Criteria for OPSC AHO Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture (B.Sc. Horticulture) or Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture) from a University or Institution recognized by any State Government or the Government of India.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 42 years as on 1st January 2026. Age relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, Women & Ex-servicemen; 10 years for PwD (40% disability); cumulative relaxation of 15 years for PwD belonging to SC/ST categories.
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-10 of the Odisha Revised Scale of Pay (ORSP) Rules, 2017, corresponding to a pre-revised pay band of PB-2 (Rs. 9,300-34,800/-) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/-. In addition, they will receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other government benefits as applicable.

Selection Process – Written Exam & Interview
The selection will be based on a Written Examination (MCQ pattern, 200 marks) followed by a Personality Test (Interview) of 25 marks. The written exam is tentatively scheduled for 27th September 2026. There is a negative marking of 25% of marks for each wrong answer.
