Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Fishery Science (B.F.Sc.) from a recognized university.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 47 years (born not earlier than 2nd January 1979 and not later than 1st January 2005)
- Age relaxation for Persons with Disabilities (40% or more permanent disability) belonging to SC/ST: 10 years over and above 47 years.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern 2026
The selection consists of two stages:

No negative marking. Qualifying marks will be set by the Commission for each paper. Candidates scoring minimum qualifying marks in each paper will be called for Viva Voce (about twice the number of vacancies). The final merit list is based on combined marks of written exam and interview.

Exam Location: Kataka (or Bhubaneswar depending on number of candidates)
Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as per Level-10 of Pay Matrix (ORSP Rules, 2017) amounting to Rs. 44,900/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances as per Odisha Government norms.
