The High Court has a Chief Justice and a number of other judges appointed by the President of India. The Chief Justice is the head of the High Court and is responsible for the overall functioning of the court.

It also has jurisdiction over matters related to the administration of justice in the state, including the appointment and promotion of judicial officers and the supervision of subordinate courts.
