Senior Scientific Officer

Number of Vacancy: 17 Posts

Educational Qualification:
i) A Second Class Master’s Degree in Zoology/Botany/Physiology/Anthropology/ Biochemistry/Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent, and
ii) Five years’ experience of analytical methods and research OR
i) A degree in science with Zoology/Botany/Physiology/Anthropology/Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University or equivalent, and
ii) Seven years’ experience in Forensic Biology.

Pay Scale:
INR
56100-144300/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 36 Years.

Selection Procedure: on the basis of either higher qualifications/ higher marks/grades obtained in the essential qualifications or experience in a relevant field higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of a Screening Test.

Application Fee:
The Candidates need to Pay the Application Fees of Rs. 210/- only.
S.C./ S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
OBC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay the usual fee as aforesaid.
No exemption of fee is available to S.C./S.T. candidates from other states.
