Educational Qualification: Diploma, MS/MD
Director, AIIMS Nagpur invites application in prescribed format from Indian National for the post of Senior Resident as per Residency Scheme of Govt. of India. The post of SR is a tenure post for duration of 3 years.
1. Post Name: Senior Resident
2. No. of Post: 05
3. Pay Band and Grade Pay: 67700/- (Level11, Cell No. 01 As per 7th CPC) plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
4. Qualification: A post graduate Medical Degree/Diploma in respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute. DMC/DDC/MCI/ State Registration is mandatory before joining, if selected.

Selection Procedure
1. Virtual Interview: In case of unavoidable circumstances, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Interview through video conferencing may be requested
2. In cases where result of qualifying exam is declared after the date of Walk-in- Interview, their candidature will stand cancelled and no claim for selection on the basis of Interview will be considered.
3. Based on bio-data, the Search cum Selection Committee may short-list Candidates for interview.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS] was designed to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspects of health and wellness program throughout India. AIIMS are a group of autonomous public medical institutes that have been declared by an Act of Parliament 1956 as “Institute of National Importanceâ€. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur is one among the four AIIMS announced during the budget speech 2014-15 under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Foundation stone for AIIMS, Nagpur was laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis at Sector 20, MIHAN. Union Cabinet Minister for Road Transport and Highway and Shipping (GoI), Shri Nitin Gadkari and many other dignitaries graced the occasion. The primary objectives of AIIMS are “correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education in the countryâ€.
