Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for temporary project position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following research project funded by Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India under Core Research Grant (CRG) Scheme, under the supervision of Dr. Basudev Pradhan, Principal Investigator (PI), Department of Department of Energy Engineering, Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe, Ranchi-835205, Jharkhand.

1. Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

3. Essential qualifications: M. Sc. In Physics/Electronics/Material Science with at least 6.0 CGPA or 55% or equivalent in aggregate from a recognized Institute or University (With NET/ valid GATE score preferable) OR M. Tech./Int. M.Tech. in Energy Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Nanotechnology/Material Science & Engineering with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 percent marks in aggregate in the M. Tech./Int. M.Tech. level from a recognized technical institute or University (With valid GATE score preferable).
4. Desirable qualifications: Prior knowledge/ prior experience in device fabrication and characterization
5. Fellowship/Stipend : For JRF Rs. 31,000/- pm for the first 2 years and Rs. 35,000/-pm for the third year, HRA as per institute rules
Pay Scale:
INR
31000 - 35000(Per Month)
Age Limit: The upper age limit 28 years on the day of application
Selection Procedure
1. Mere fulfilment of qualification requirement does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
2. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated via email to appear in the interview.
3. No interim correspondence will be entertained. CUJ reserves the right not to fill the position, if it desires so. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview.
4. Self-attested photocopies of documents with CV and latest photo have to submit at the time of interview. No application will be considered after due date and without proper format.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The President of India gave assent to The Central Universities Act, 2009 that envisages establishing and incorporating universities for teaching and research in the various states.
The Central University of Jharkhand came into being under this Act on 1st of March, 2009.
