✅ Eligibility Criteria – IIT Jammu JRF & RA-III 2026
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Essential: M.Tech./M.E. in Mechanical/Chemical/Computer Science & Engineering with B.Tech./B.E. in same streams, minimum 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA).
- OR B.Tech./B.E. in above streams with 60% marks throughout (from Class XII).
- Desirable: GATE/NET score, knowledge of C/C++, Python, FORTRAN, CFD software, AI/ML.
For Research Associate-III (RA-III)
- Option 1: Ph.D. in Mechanical/Chemical/Computer Science & Engineering with B.Tech./B.E. in same.
- Option 2: M.Tech./M.E. in same with 3 years of research/teaching/design experience and at least one SCI journal paper.
Age Limit
Upper age limit: 50 years. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/Women/Physically challenged, 3 years for OBC (NCL).
