Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Architect

• Essential Qualification: Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects or Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Architects (by examination) or minimum Degree in Architecture from a statutory university. Must be a registered member of the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
• Experience: Not less than five years in a qualified architect's office gained after acquiring the qualification. Experience of inspection of work under construction and adequate knowledge of Municipal Building By-laws regarding construction work.

Age Limit (as on 01-04-2026)

• Open Category: 19 to 38 years
• Reserved Categories: 19 to 43 years
• Disabled Candidates: Upper age relaxation of 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Upper age relaxation as per rules

Selection Process

Selection through Written Examination (200 marks) and Interview (50 marks). Shortlisting for interview based on written exam performance. Total: 250 marks. Written exam will be objective type with subjects related to Architecture. Negative marking for wrong answers.
